We are GLORY BOARDS - an Austrian SUP brand based in Seekirchen. Our goal is to build a SUP community that shares the lifestyle and love for water sports, supports one another, and paddles together on the water with high-quality SUP equipment.

GLORY BOARDS was founded in 2015 by Stefan Karpe. Born and raised in Seekirchen am Wallersee, his passion for water sports was instilled in him from the cradle. Starting at the age of 8 on sailboat trips with his parents, through trying things out on his own with small sailboats, to windsurfing and kitesurfing, water sports have become an integral part of his life. During his exploration tours on his board, Stefan experienced numerous adventures on local waters and would simply pick up a paddle back then as well. Some time later, stand-up paddling became increasingly well-known in the USA under the name: Stand Up Paddling - born in Hawaii and diligently practiced on the "mainland." Stefan knew he wanted to have such a SUP and try it out himself. No sooner said than done! So he ordered a SUP board online from the USA, which was very expensive at the time. He quickly realized that the sport of SUP is not only incredibly fun but also has potential. Furthermore, he recognized how well the SUP board is suited as a training device while being gentle on the joints. However, the SUP he ordered was very expensive, the workmanship was moderate, and the shape of the board was in need of improvement. Stefan was certain he could do better! He developed a SUP board that is both attractively priced and high-quality. Following the motto "No guts, no glory," GLORY BOARDS was finally founded.
